There seems to be a new parkrun every month and this month it was Coed Cefn-pwll-du near Machen.
Sharon: What a cracking course that was, first mile was an absolute belter all up hill, then a bit of a down hill, then it’s just, well lumpy ???? oh, an let’s not forget the mud to make it even aaaaaarrdddder ????

Twin Piers 10k
Sam Lewis Jones and Gareth Lewis were in North Wales on Saturday for the iconic Piers Race which has been held between Llandudno and Colywn Bay since 1979.
Speedway 10k
We had three club members at the super fast Speedway 10k on Sunday – Harry Davies, Jamie Parry and Nicola Jukes. The race attracts some very fast runners from around the country and last runner finished in around 47 minutes. Harry Davies was first home in an unofficial time of 31:47 followed by Jamie Parry in 32:53 and Nicola Jukes in 39:59.
Non Thomas New Year Open
Mark Williams was at the Non Thomas New Year Open on Sunday for an indoor 800m and 1500m. He took a silver for his age category in both races.
Buff Trail 10k Canicross
On missed from last week was Jonathon Astley’s (and Meg’s) first place in the Buff Wales 10k canicross race.
