Severn Bridge Night Race

Stephen George, Diane Morgan and Sarah Eaton braved very wet and windy conditions on Friday night for the last race in the Severn Bridge Night Race Series. If you haven’t run this race before, I highly recommend checking it out later in the year. Thanks to Tosh Simpkin for the photo.

Saturday saw another successful pacer event with a number of PBs being recorded despite the bad conditions. There was a single club PB with Daniel Prices finishing in 20:53.

Congratulations to Lee for clocking up a very impressive 100 first place finishes at Bryn Bach parkrun.

Benidorm Half Marathon & 10k

Great to see so many Green Vest on show in Benidorm for the half marathon and 10k. Well done to Linda Harry for completing her first 10k race!

Newport Half Marathon

The popular Newport Half Marathon took place on Sunday and as always there was a good turnout from the Green Army. The race featured sun, rain, wind and a tasty hail storm but that didn’t stop club members scoring PBs including Martyn Powell who ran sub 1:50 for the first time.
