Inaugural Aberbeeg parkrun

A dozen members of the Green Army were in Aberbeeg this weekend for the inaugural parkrun.

Twmbarlwm Terror

The inaugural Twmbarlwm Terror organised by Fairwater Runners took place this week and has been many, many months in the making and by all accounts it was a tough race.

Starting at Risca Leisure Centre it’s a tough climb up Mountain Road  towards Twmbarlwm. I found it a struggle in the car so those brave Green Army runners must have been coughing up a lung along the way! Fortunately it was dry out there although the mist meant visibility was hampered somewhat.

Awards

Congratulations to Sarah Jeremiah for winning her age category. You can always rely on her for an animated photo!

Richard Burton 10K

The Green Army was out in force for the fast annual Richard Burton 10K in Cwmafan and there were lots of strong runs and some awards! Thanks to Ethan Sayce for the photos.
