Kathleen Jervis aka Jonesy

I class myself as a mediocre middle distance runner. I joined Club 69 some 28 years ago and stepped down in between life’s challenges rejoining Parc Bryn Bach RC. The rest as they say is history.

Why do I run?

It’s not one particular answer. Others have asked the same question and when I look at my medals – gold, silver and bronze in Welsh Athletics, various half marathons, 10Ks – the hundreds of T-shirts, it’s about satisfaction to me job well done mo matter what position I finish. Its also about the friends and supporting the club – we laugh and cry together as only runners can.

Proudest Moments: 3 London marathons and 1 snowdon.
My Hero: I respect every single runner who puts their self out there my absolute all time respect goes to Steve Jones known to the world but known to me as my brother.
