I first started running after a period of illness where surgery had left me with very little self confidence, initially I only ran to raise money for charity but then fell in love with the sport. I joined PBB’s first strides group a year later before joining the main club.

Running has given me new found confidence, self-belief and most importantly so many new friends. The team spirit throughout PBBRC is second to none, the more experienced runners are always more than happy to offer advice and training tips to us newer runners.
