Rogue Runs Night Race 2: Beechenhurst

The Rogue Runs Night Race 2020 Series continued with a race at Beechenhurst in the Forest of Dean and it was great to see some new faces at the excellent race series. If you haven’t done a night race before I can highly recommend the Rogue Runs series – I will be back next season!

Well done to Sarah Jeremiah for her age win and newbie night race Tom for his 1st U20 win.

Just one PB to report this week, and an impressive one with Jamie Parry inching towards sub-16 with a finishing time of 16:12. I’ll have to give Ethan some photography tips 😉

Buff Wales Trail 10k

Good to see a number of the Green Amy out for the damp Buff Trail 10k race on Saturday afternoon. Apparently The Wall was fun!

Riverbank Rollick

Some brave souls from the club travelled across the border to attack the sell-out Riverbank Rollick. Having photographed the race the last two years, they were guaranteed some good photos coming through the shoe wash near the end of the race.

It was good to see the marshalls our on the course maintaining the tradition of wearing fancy dress to cheer the runners up along the way. Good to see that Mr Blobby is still marshalling the windy River Severn stretch.
