The Couch to 10kers

Some of the runners that successfully completed the C210k AND completed the Swansea Bay 10k last weekend met up on Tuesday to show that they’re all still keen to keep on running. Hopefully some of them will enlist in the Green Army in the near future.

It was another successful pacer week organised by Laura Hire and five club members scored a PB  with Jamie Parry finishing in 16:29, Lloyd Owen in 17:05, Stephen Price in 22:27, Martyn Powell in 22:44 and Lisa James Lynch in 28:50.

There was a very close battle between Jamie and Harry with both crossing the line in 16:29 and the top seven places were taken by the Green Army!

Great Scottish Run Half Marathon and 10k

A number of Green Army headed north to Scotland for the Glasgow Half Marathon and 10k. Some, like the Rist’s, took part in the 10k, whilst others tackled the half with Arlene Osman and Stacey Marlog completing their first race at that distance and Mike Matthews getting a 3 minute PB finishing in 1:36!
