2019 Müller British Athletics Championships
It was a huge day for Lauren Cooper on Saturday competing in the 3000m Steeplechase at the 2019 Müller British Athletics Championships!
Up against a VERY good field, Lauren did amazing finishing 5th place in what must have been an amazing experience for her.

Playa Flamenca, Spain
Harry Davies had an amazing run at a sunny parkrun on Saturday beating Lee’s club course record by 14 seconds finishing in 16:08. Also scoring PBs were Beth Jones who finished in 21:32and Martyn Powell who finished in 22:46.
Llantwit Major 10k
Gareth Williams competed in the Llantwit Major 10k on Saturday morning along with his wife who is a recent graduate from this year’s C25K!
Sam spent the weekend running with Mabli at the Pembrey CaniX event in Pembrey Country Park. She competed in the 5k on Saturday and Sunday and hopes to compete in the 10k on Monday.
Severn Bridge Half Marathon
A number club members were in Chepstow on Sunday for the cross-border Severn Bridge 10k and half marathon. Jamie Parry bagged another win for the club finishing the 10k in 34:49 – over a minute ahead of second place!
Mark Williams were at the annual Butetown Mile on Sunday morning. Mark Williams dipped under 6 minutes for the first time since getting back into running finishing in 05:54. Chris Prothero had an outstanding run finishing second place in 04:32 and which is a new club record.
Cardiff Pentath-Run (CPR)
Well done Hayley for completing the Cardiff Pentath-Run which consisted of a parkrun, 10k run and 4.5k cross country on Saturday followed by a half marathon and mile race on Sunday. Total distance – 42.2km.
Lee Bool was in west Wales on Sunday for the Narberth Nobbler. He competed in the 10k.
There was a great turnout for Melissa’s annual (?) run to the Canyons. I don’t think I’d get much running done in such scenic settings!
