Murder Mile

The very tough Murder Mile took place on Friday evening and there were a number of club members who willingly paid to run/walk/crawl up the VERY steep hill. At least there was a beer at the end.

Thanks to Mike Kelly for the cracking photo of Steven Phillips.

Barry 10k

Over two dozen club members attacked the hilly Barry Island 10K on Sunday morning. The race was also a Masters International match between Wales and England and Lee Aherne, Nicola Jukes and Jill Matthews were selected to represent Wales. Both the men’s and women’s teams beat England and Lee came first in his age category.

Well done to Helen Greenwood for completing her first proper 10k and also congratulations to Allyson Power for finishing the race non-stop.
