Fission 20:20

Steven Phillips was in Berkeley, Gloucestershire on Saturday for Fission 20:20. It was his first of two 20-mile races this weekend.

San Domenico 20/10

There was a good turnout for the San Domenico 20/10 with a mix running both the 20 mile and 10 mile races. Claire and Sarah were using the race to prepare for the St Illtyd’s ultra in May and Helen was using it as a training run for the London Marathon next month. Well done to Haydn for taking first in his age category and Andrew Jones for securing a 10-mile PB in his longest race since the Welsh Castles Relay in 2017.

Philip Miles aka ‘The Man with the Whistle’ Accepts Kim’s Friend Request!

After three years (yes three years!), Phillip Miles has finally accepted Kim’s friend request on Facebook. He’s in such demand that it’s has taken him this long to go through his list of friend requests. After Kim’s announcement, other club members shared their experiences.

Neil Beynon: And there was me thinking 2 years was long. There’s hope for us yet.
Andrew Jones: Obviously I’m one of his favourites, a mere six months wait for me.
Laura
Hire: I actually cancelled mine as I got fed up of waiting… I guess I have to go back to the start of the 3 yr list now.

Malta Fat Club

5 out of 8 fat clubbers gained weight this week taking the total weight loss back down to 3st 4lb. Someone didn’t help by eating most of a birthday cake this week. Not mentioning any names Laura.

And It’s Goodbye from Sarah!
