BUCS Cross Country Championships

Lauren Cooper travelled to Exeter on Saturday for the BUCS (British University & Colleges Sports) Cross Country Championship. She finished 37th out of a field of 619!

And you can count on Lauren to make sure the famous Green Vest gets an airing.

There were four PBs to report at parkrun this weekend with Joanna Summerfield finishing in 21:27, Bethan Williams finishing in 26:01, Cath Cross finishing in 30:52 and Sall Ann-Morgan finishing in 33:33.

The remnants of this week’s snow and frosty conditions made for a tough course at the latest GLCL XC fixture in Usk. Well done to everyone that braved the elements.

Even though I couldn’t make it other club members were on hand to photograph everyone and look out for gurners. Seems like Delphine and the Chepstow Harriers runner were in competition!

Mark Williams Selected for Welsh Masters

Mark Williams joins Sarah Coote and Louise Kirby after being selected for the Welsh Masters Team. He will be competing in the Masters Inter Area Indoor Challenge in Lee Valley on February 24th.

Malta Fat Club

Malta Fat Club continues with some winners and losers this week but an overall loss of 2st 8lb loss.
