Rose Inn Series 2017: Race 4
The final race in the Rose Inn Series and heading into the race we had already secured a number of awards including Lee Aherne in the MV50 category, Nicola Jukes in the FV45 category and Beth Jones in the Junior Ladies category. The ladies had also won the first three races and were hoping for a clean sweep with a fourth victory.
18 members braved the damp and smelly conditions in Redwick for a cracking finale. Numerous runners secured new PBs and we won 7 different trophies. Unfortunately the ladies team missed out on a clean sweep after being pipped by Lliswerry but three out of four is still a fantastic result.
