Rose Inn Series 2017: Race 2

Another great turnout from the Green Army and another set of impressive results. Almost 30 club members turned up for another hot evening of fast, flat running around Redwick. It was great having some new faces racing for us including Debbie Dawkins.

In a tough field Lee Aherne came 9th overall matching the age category record that he set at the first Rose Inn Series race. Lauren Cooper was our first female across the line finishing 4th female overall. Other club members including James Thomas beat their previous times despite the warm conditions.

If you’re yet to run Rose Inn, it’s definitely recommended. It’s a great atmosphere, the course is easy and there’s beer and burgers after the race!

The ladies did us proud by coming first for a second time. Congratulations Lauren Cooper, Nicola Jukes and Hannah Williams.
