Greater Manchester Marathon

Three members of PBB attended the 2017 Greater Manchester Marathon – Alison Holton, Kym Waters and Sara Elizabeth. All three trained extremely hard in the months leading up to the race and prepared themselves with half marathons and 20-mile races.

A hot race day meant that conditions were tougher than expected but that didn’t stop Kym from beating her London Marathon time by 32 minutes to finish almost 10 minutes under 4 hours and Alison also scoring a PB with 04:19. Sara also did superbly by completing her first ever marathon. She had trained hard and diligently so it was well-deserved.
